This is a prestigious Billiards tournament organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation (HBSF), which has affirmed its position in the Vietnamese Billiards community over the years, and is known as the "World Cup of Vietnamese Billiards".
Tour 2 was organized with 4 competitions including: Men's 3-cushion Carom, Women's 3-cushion Carom, Men's 9-cushion pool and Women's 9-cushion pool, gathering nearly 500 players, not only the top Vietnamese players but also international guests.
The tournament is notable not only for the large number of participating athletes with high professional quality but also for the attractive prize structure with a total value of more than 450 million VND.
In particular, Tour 2 also marked an important turning point when HBSF implemented updating athlete data to complete management records, better support players in professional activities, tournaments and develop the Billiards movement.
Updating athlete data helps manage athletes accurately and scientifically , helping athletes have complete and professional data profiles; reviewing participation in official tournaments; ensuring benefits in movement activities, training and rewards for players, etc., aiming to automate the tournament system.
On the first competition day, July 31, the qualifying round 2 took place for 3-cushion carom and men's 9-ball pool.
On the second day of competition (August 1), the tournament will compete in the remaining qualifying round to select the final names in the top 16 men's 3-cushion carom and top 32 men's 9-ball pool to continue to the main round Round 1.
This competition day has the appearance of many famous players. In the 3-cushion carom content such as Do Duc Hien, Nguyen Thanh That, Nguyen Thanh Phi, Nguyen Dinh Chien and especially the champion of round 1 of the 2025 National Billiards Chau Hong Thai.
