On June 24, Binh Duong Provincial Police organized a training course to introduce and guide regulations related to consulting, design, construction and installation of fire protection systems for nearly 500 delegates, including businesses, design consulting units, and fire protection system construction supervision units in Binh Duong and neighboring provinces. Leaders of some businesses that have experienced major fires attended to update the guidance.

At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Diep, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police, said that from 2021 to present, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07 - Binh Duong Provincial Police) has received 459 reports of fires, explosions and rescue from facilities and people. Of which, there were 35 large fires (accounting for 9%); 204 medium and small fires (accounting for 52.44%); 250 fires were promptly handled by specialized Fire Prevention and Rescue forces, facilities, and civil defense forces using on-site fire fighting equipment (accounting for 64.26%).

Lieutenant Colonel Tung emphasized the responsibility of the investor in coordinating with relevant units in preparing documents, materials, forces, and means for inspection and acceptance work to ensure the effectiveness of the inspection work. Along with that, the internal acceptance work between the investor and the construction units and supervision consultants must show in detail the legal basis, testing methods, testing results, images/ videos proving the testing process...

According to Binh Duong Provincial Police, the conference helps establishments and enterprises operating in fire prevention and firefighting consultancy and design to grasp and organize the implementation of contents related to the field of fire prevention and firefighting in a convenient manner. Thereby contributing to promoting the sustainable socio-economic development of Binh Duong province in terms of fire prevention and firefighting safety right from the initial stages of construction investment; significantly contributing to minimizing fires and explosions that cause damage to people and property; creating favorable conditions for state management of fire prevention and firefighting.
