The pig market in the North has no new changes in price.

Of which, the price of live pigs in the provinces of Bac Giang, Yen Bai , Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam and Hanoi is 60,000 VND/kg - the highest in the region.

Other provinces and cities in the region maintained transactions at 59,000 VND/kg.

Today's live pig price in the North is around 59,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in Central and Central Highlands remains stable

According to records, the price of live pigs in the Central and Central Highlands regions also remained stable across a wide area.

In detail, live pigs in Lam Dong and Binh Thuan are being purchased at the lowest price of 58,000 VND/kg.

Except for Dak Lak, which is anchored at 60,000 VND/kg, traders in other provinces are trading at stable prices in the range of 58,000 - 59,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central and Central Highlands regions is around 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the South remains stable

In the Southern region, pig prices have not changed.

Currently, live pigs in Dong Nai continue to be traded at the highest price in the region at 62,000 VND/kg.

Provinces and cities do not maintain stable transactions in the range of 60,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

The current price decline is consistent with previous predictions by some experts in the livestock sector. Specifically, the price of live pigs in Vietnam is higher than that of other countries in the region, creating pressure for smuggling across the border, while domestic consumption demand has not yet recovered. For livestock farmers, the price is at an acceptable level to compensate for the previous period of losses.
