Specifically, from 3 p.m., the ceiling price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,445 VND/liter, down 1,085 VND/liter compared to the current price; RON95-III gasoline has a new price of 19,906 VND/liter, down 1,210 VND/liter compared to the current price.
During this period, diesel oil decreased by 941 VND/liter, to 18,408 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 932 VND/liter, the new price is 18,132 VND/liter and fuel oil decreased by 1,148 VND, to 15,807 VND/kg.
Along with that, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested not to set aside and not to use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products. As for the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), as of the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) at the enterprise was 3,083 billion VND, remaining stable compared to the most recent announcement period.
Most recently (July 1), the selling prices of petroleum products decreased due to Resolution No. 204/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on reducing value added tax, which took effect from 0:00 on July 1.
Correspondingly, the retail price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by VND381/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND391/liter; diesel 0.05S decreased by VND358/liter; kerosene decreased by VND350/liter and mazut decreased by VND314/kg.
According to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading, the period of petroleum price management will be shortened from 10 days to 7 days, implemented every Thursday.
In case the price management period coincides with a holiday according to regulations, it will be implemented as follows: If Thursday coincides with the first day of the holiday, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the previous Wednesday. If Thursday coincides with the remaining holidays, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the first working day after the holiday./.
