The 19th Saigontourist Group Golf Tournament for the Community is not only a sports tournament but also a strong message affirming the social responsibility and commitment to sustainable development of Saigontourist Group, especially on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Saigon Tourist Corporation - Saigontourist Group (August 1, 1975 - August 1, 2025).
"Festival of kindness and sharing"
This year’s tournament successfully raised 1,000 scholarships, worth a total of VND1 billion, for studious students with difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. All donations will be given directly to the students through the cooperation of Saigontourist Group and the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of Poor Patients, contributing to brightening the future for the younger generation.

Initiated in 2006, the Saigontourist Group Golf Tournament for the Community has become a proud charitable mark of Saigontourist Group. Up to now, the tournament has attracted about 3,000 golfers to participate, creating a sustainable charity fund, contributing to many practical social security programs across the country. The tournament has raised more than 12 billion VND in charity funds, of which more than 8 billion VND was allocated for scholarships.

The money raised from the tournament over the years has been used for many purposes, bringing positive impacts to thousands of lives. Specifically, the program has supported thousands of scholarships for studious students in difficult circumstances, including students at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Blind School and shelters in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities; and students orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic. The program also sponsors heart and eye surgeries, free medical examinations and treatment for patients in difficult circumstances, helping them have the opportunity to improve their quality of life; implements relief programs for ethnic minorities in mountainous areas affected by natural disasters, builds houses of gratitude for families under preferential treatment, builds rural bridges in remote areas, improves infrastructure and people's lives.
The 19th Saigontourist Group Golf Tournament for the Community took place on August 2, 2025. Afterwards, the Scholarship Fund Award Ceremony and the closing ceremony and award ceremony also took place on the same evening at the Vietnam Golf & Country Club complex.

The 19th Saigontourist Group Golf Tournament for the Community this year continues to be attractive with a total of 17 prizes, including 2 special "hole in one" prizes. The "hole in one" prize at hole 7 is a Mercedes C200 Avantgarde, and at hole 16 is a travel voucher worth 500,000,000 VND from Saigontourist Travel Service Company (customers can use it to buy tours, air tickets, hotel rooms and rent tourist cars).

In addition to the golf tournament, Saigontourist Group is always at the forefront of other charitable activities, demonstrating a strong commitment to the community. Typical examples include the program to support production development and social security in Can Gio with a total budget of 10 billion VND in the period 2017 to 2020, the Clean Water for Schools program, supporting mountainous people affected by natural disasters, giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; awarding scholarships to children of Saigontourist Group staff and employees in difficult circumstances, demonstrating deep concern for those who have contributed and the Saigontourist Group workforce.
In addition, every year, the Corporation's Trade Union also organizes many activities to care for workers and laborers with difficult family circumstances to have the opportunity to celebrate Lunar New Year, with the program "Happy Tet with city workers", the program "Tet Sum Vay", "Spring of Love Connection" and the Mid-Autumn Festival program for 500 orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic...
This year's golf tournament once again affirms the position of Saigontourist Group. 50 years of growing with the country, Saigontourist Group - an enterprise that is not only strong in business but also rich in compassion, always pioneering in activities for the benefit of the community, contributing to building a better and more humane society.
