The 2025 season marks an important turning point, transforming running from a movement into a healthy and sustainable lifestyle in the community.

Spread the spirit of sportsmanship

As an annual symbolic race of the capital Hanoi , organized on a large and professional scale, the 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is an opportunity for athletes to spread the spirit of sportsmanship, arouse national pride and together contribute to the positive development of society.

The tournament is under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. Along with that is the strategic companionship of Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), continuing the journey of connecting the community through sports.

The 4th season is expected to gather about 13,000 athletes from home and abroad. Including professional athletes, movements, celebrities, businesses and the running community. The increase in scale over the years is a testament to the positive change in social awareness, as running is gradually becoming part of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Improve the quality of experience

This year's season marks an important step forward in organization, with the highlight being the adjustment of the competition route to improve the quality of experience for athletes.

Specifically, the two distances of marathon (42.195 km) and half marathon (21.1 km) will have their race routes adjusted to ensure competition safety and minimize impacts on people's daily lives.

The Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is therefore not simply a race, but also a journey connecting sports, culture and tourism, contributing to spreading the image of the capital as a dynamic destination, rich in identity and loved by the international community.

Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, said: "The 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is one of the key sports activities of the capital after the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, contributing practically to promoting the spirit of sports and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people."

Many side activities

Ms. Thai Minh Diem Tu - Marketing Director of Techcombank, representative of the tournament's strategic sponsor - shared: "Through the message 'Running for a superior Vietnam', the tournament has become a place where Techcombank and thousands of athletes spread the spirit of positive living, improve physical fitness, connect the community and awaken the inner strength of each individual. Each step is not only a training journey, but also a symbol of determination to overcome limits, towards better values".

In addition to the official competition distances, the 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon also offers exciting sideline activities, taking place throughout three days, from October 3 to 5, 2025. Among them is the KIDS RUN, a race for young athletes from 5 to 14 years old with two distances of 3km and 1.5km.
