According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, this unit is urgently completing the grading of the 10th grade high school entrance exam to be able to announce the exam scores and benchmark scores on July 4.
Previously, Hanoi planned to announce exam scores and benchmark scores between July 4 and 6.
This is the first year that Hanoi will announce benchmark scores at the same time as the exam scores instead of one day later like last year, according to the requirements of the high school admission regulations newly issued by the Ministry of Education and Training .
Also according to the new regulations, the exam scores of all subjects are calculated with a coefficient of 1, not doubling the scores of Math and Literature subjects as in previous years.
Candidates can look up exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 on the electronic information portal of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (https://hanoi.edu.vn), the city's primary school admission information portal (https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn) or on the Hanoi Moi Newspaper.
Immediately after knowing the exam scores, students who wish to apply can submit an application for review of the exam. The deadline for receiving the application is July 10. From July 7 to 9, students will receive their exam registration documents and score reports.
Successful candidates are required to confirm their admission. The online confirmation period is from July 10 to 12.
The entrance exam for grade 10 public high schools in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 school year took place on June 7 and 8 with nearly 104,000 candidates registering for the exam. Hanoi is the locality with the largest number of grade 10 candidates in the country. Candidates take the exam in 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language.
