On January 15, Dan Phuong district held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tay Thang Long road construction project (section from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai canal road).
The project to build Tay Thang Long road from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai canal has a scale of investment in building a new synchronous road with a length of 5.8km; the cross-section scale of the road: Section 1 from Ring Road 3.5 to Ring Road 4 is 60.5m; Section 2 from Ring Road 4 to Dan Hoai canal is 40m with a total investment of 1,298 billion VND.
Delegates of Hanoi city pressed the button to start the construction project of Tay Thang Long route.
Mr. Nguyen Thac Hung - Vice Chairman of Dan Phuong District People's Committee said that the project was approved by Hanoi People's Council in Resolution No. 30. Immediately after the project investment policy was approved, Dan Phuong District People's Committee focused resources, urgently and made efforts to coordinate with departments, branches, and the City, directing specialized departments, branches, and sectors of the district to focus on completing the project investment procedures. Up to now, Dan Phuong District Construction Investment Project Management Board has signed a contract with the Joint Venture of Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company with an implementation period of 450 days from the date of signing.
"The investment in the construction of the Tay Thang Long road project (from Ring Road 3.5 to Dan Hoai Canal) is to concretize the policy approved by the City People's Council, gradually completing the traffic system in the western area of the city according to the plan.
The invested route, along with the sections on the Tay Thang Long axis road, has been and is being invested to create a vital and smooth route connecting from the West Lake area to Dan Phuong district and further to Phuc Tho, Son Tay, Ba Vi, connecting inter-regional traffic with the city's system of framework routes," said the leader of Dan Phuong district.
According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the completion of the route will also help create a smooth traffic network, contributing to the completion of the city's infrastructure system, meeting the traffic needs of the people. This route also contributes to completing the criteria for developing Dan Phuong from a district to a district, contributing to the socio -economic development of the city and the district.
The Hanoi People's Committee requested the Dan Phuong District Project Management Board to closely coordinate with the district's departments, commune People's Committees, construction units and related units to focus human resources to implement the construction to ensure progress and quality, promptly resolve arising issues, and promptly complete the handover and put the project into effective use.
