Journey to conquer dreams
Planning for her dream of studying abroad early, Tieu Linh passed many rounds of selection and excellently received scholarships from 10 prestigious universities in the "land of the stars and stripes": University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Furman University, Purdue University, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Michigan State University, University of Connecticut, University at Buffalo and Arizona State University.
Tieu Linh's success is a testament to her perseverance, ability to seize opportunities, maximize potential and determination to pursue her dreams.
Looking back on her journey of preparing her scholarship application, Tieu Linh shared: "What I am most proud of is my perseverance and efforts. To complete all the application steps carefully and in detail requires patience and a clear strategy."
Sharing the secret to success, Tieu Linh believes that proactively preparing early for the study abroad journey is a big advantage. I spent time carefully researching the curriculum and scholarship opportunities of each school to have the best preparation. Thanks to that, my profile not only stood out in terms of academic achievements but also clearly demonstrated my passion and personal orientation, thereby making an impression on the Admissions Board.
Foreign language strength is the "key" to open the door to international academics
One of the advantages that helped Tieu Linh achieve success was her solid English foundation. "Studying the International Program gave me the opportunity to access rich materials, participate in research projects and be more confident when interviewing with universities," Tieu Linh said.
Thanks to learning English from an early age, Tieu Linh has become more confident in communication, thereby opening up many opportunities to learn and gain rich experiences.
Tieu Linh also made her mark in international competitions with many impressive achievements: Gold Medal in the 1 Idea 1 World 2023 Competition, First Prize in the 2023 AMC12 American Mathematics Competition, Second Prize in the 2022 AMC10 American Mathematics Competition, Silver Prize in the 2024 BISO Brilliance Intelligence Students Olympiad in the Astronomy category. In addition, she is also the co-author of a study titled "Factors Influencing Consumers Repurchase Intention Green Cosmetics in Vietnam: A Qualitative Study" published in the International Journal of Agriculture and Biological Sciences.
With a warm heart and a spirit of dedication, Tieu Linh and her friends founded the Touch the Stars Foundation to spread kindness and bring positive values to society.
Tieu Linh also devotes time and passion to community projects. She co-founded two organizations, Star Seeker and Touch the Stars Foundation, to help children in difficult circumstances.
Passionate about numbers and strategic analysis, Tieu Linh aims to pursue a major in Business Administration - Business Analytics, hoping to apply technology to optimize business processes, helping businesses exploit and use data intelligently to improve operational efficiency. Ha Tieu Linh's journey is not only a testament to her personal efforts but also an inspiration for many other young people pursuing their dream of studying abroad.
