The clinic consists of 3 specialized clinics (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Pediatrics) and 2 specialist clinics, with the participation of leading doctors from Gia Dinh People's Hospital. These are doctors with deep expertise and rich experience in fields such as internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, emergency resuscitation, musculoskeletal system, etc.
According to Dr. Mai Phan Tuong Anh, Deputy Director of Gia Dinh People's Hospital, the launch of the satellite clinic is a strategic step to expand the network to serve people, reduce the burden on the main facility and increase access to high-quality medical services right in the locality.
According to the roadmap approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Saigon General Hospital will become the second facility of Gia Dinh People's Hospital, oriented to develop into a general hospital specializing in emergency care.
The event marks a step forward in the public health linkage model, demonstrating the two units' joint commitment to improving the quality of public health care and better serving both city residents and international visitors.
