The 9 newly awarded artisans include: Mr. Pham Anh Dung (born in 1945) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Phiu (born in 1958) in Xuan Neo embroidery village, Hung Dao commune (Tu Ky) with the embroidery profession.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien and Ms. Tran Thi Ha (both born in 1986) at Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company, Thai Tan Commune (Nam Sach) with the job of painting and decorating ceramic and porcelain products.
In Cuc Bo carpentry village, Kien Phuc commune (Ninh Giang), there are Mr. Bui Van Manh (born in 1976) and Mr. Bui Van Quyen (born in 1977) with the profession of carpentry of communal houses and pagodas.
In Hoang Dieu commune (Gia Loc), there are Mr. Pham Gia Thien (born in 1955) in Van Lam leather shoe village, Mr. Pham Van Hung (born in 1976) and Mr. Vu Van Thao (born in 1977) both in Phong Lam leather shoe village with the profession of art design and leather shoe production.
Since 2012, Hai Duong has started to organize the evaluation and awarding of the title of handicraft artisan. The evaluation is carried out every 2 years. Up to now, the whole province has 70 handicraft artisans concentrated in a number of professions such as: embroidery, wood carving, mechanical engineering...
