At around 12:30 on September 24, a 4-storey house in alley 133 Binh Quoi Street (Ward 27, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) was under repair when it suddenly collapsed.

The incident left 7 people injured, 2 of whom were taken to Gia Dinh People's Hospital for emergency treatment. According to authorities, the house was being repaired and was in a state of tilt and subsidence when the incident occurred.

At noon on September 25, information from Gia Dinh People's Hospital said that 2 victims had completed surgery, their vital signs were temporarily stable, including 1 victim who had to be monitored for lung contusion and pneumothorax.

On the afternoon of September 24, the Emergency Department of Gia Dinh People's Hospital received two male victims, 23 years old (residing in Soc Trang province) and 31 years old (residing in An Giang province). Both were hospitalized with multiple injuries.

The first victim was admitted to the emergency room at 2:59 p.m. with multiple trauma shock, complex injuries to the head, neck, forearm and right shoulder, bilateral lung contusions, cardiac contusions, right pneumothorax, closed fracture of the left femur, and acute kidney injury.

Immediately, the victim was resuscitated, transfused with 2 units of blood, 4 units of frozen plasma, and underwent surgical debridement and suture of wounds on the head, ear, shoulder, right forearm, and punctured nail in the right thigh.

At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, the surgery was completed. Currently, the victim's vital signs are stable, on a ventilator, monitoring bilateral lung contusions, and right pneumothorax at the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department.

The second victim was admitted to the hospital at 3:36 p.m. with open fractures of both right tibias and dislocated left hip. The victim underwent surgery to remove and fix the right leg, dislocated left hip, and had a pin inserted to pull the weight of the left thigh.

The surgery ended at 10:40 p.m. The victim is currently conscious, with stable vital signs, and is being monitored post-operatively at the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department.
