To implement the Yen Xa wastewater treatment project, over the past years, a system of construction bunkers has been built on many streets in Hanoi, including Vu Trong Khanh Street. Currently, many streets have been completed and fenced off, but Nguyen Trong Khanh Street alone still has dozens of fences.

Because the fence occupies 2/3 of the roadway, traffic on Vu Trong Khanh Street has often been congested in the morning and afternoon.

On November 4, traffic on Vu Trong Khanh Street was difficult and congested until late afternoon.

The cause of the traffic jam is that the direction from Nguyen Trai to To Huu and the direction from Tran Phu to To Huu have 3 lanes, but the construction site fence is taking up 2 lanes, causing many sections of the road to become bottlenecks.

The fence on Vu Trong Khanh street not only causes traffic congestion on this street but also affects traffic on neighboring routes such as Nguyen Trai - Tran Phu, To Huu, Nguyen Van Loc...

The project investor, the Hanoi City Management Board of Technical Infrastructure and Agricultural Construction Investment and related units, said that the reason the construction site on Vu Trong Khanh Street is slow is because the contractor has not met the progress requirements, causing traffic congestion.
