(Dan Tri) - "This boss is very unprofessional. He scolded his employee in front of the candidate and even criticized me unreasonably," Gupta, a human resources officer in India, expressed his indignation.

Recently, Vibha Gupta, an Indian girl with influence on social networks, surprised many people when she shared that she had just turned down a high-paying job because of the employer's lack of professionalism.

Accordingly, Gupta said she applied and had an interview with a company (the identity of which was not disclosed). At first, Gupta had a bad impression when the CEO (chief executive officer) made her wait for 15 minutes.

"I tried to be understanding because his schedule might be very busy. But what happened next was unacceptable to me. Before the interview started, the CEO asked me if the recruiting department had sent me a company introduction video . When I said no, he called the recruiting person in and scolded him in front of me," Gupta said.

According to Gupta, scolding her employees in front of others is disrespectful. The CEO then compared her copywriting work to “ChatGPT,” an artificial intelligence application that provides automated answers to user questions.

Not only that, the CEO copied the content that Gupta wrote on her personal page and forwarded it to the marketing department for reference. "I feel like my profession is not respected," she said.

Gupta eventually withdrew her application, saying that although the company had found her to be a good fit, she had turned down the job because the work environment was not right for her.

This article has attracted discussion from many experts in the field of human resources. They believe that candidates can trust their intuition and be ready to leave if they feel unusual during the recruitment process.
