15 "golden" years of Newton Inter-level School System
Newton Inter-level School System recently held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary. At the ceremony, teacher Hoang Thi Man - Principal of Newton Secondary - High School said that the school was established in 2009; in the early days, the school's facilities had to be rented, and the team of teachers and staff was only 21 people. Now, the Newton system is proud to have 4 campuses with more than 8,500 students and over 1,000 staff and teachers.
After 15 years of establishment and development, Newton Inter-level School System has increasingly affirmed its position as a modern, high-quality educational model on the educational "map" of the Capital.
In 2012, Newton was one of the first high schools to implement the international bilingual model with average test scores among the top in Hanoi . In 2016, Newton was recognized as a "National Standard Level 2" school.
In 2018, the school became Cambridge International School. In 2020, Newton was the first school in Hanoi to implement online teaching due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. In 2022, the school achieved international accreditation from the Cognia Organization - USA.
Last year, Newton was the first private school in Hanoi to have students selected for the national team of excellent students to participate in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) and won the highest prize overall.
In 2024, the school has 5 students in the Hanoi team for the national excellent student competition and 2 official members in the team for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO 2024).
With outstanding achievements, over the past 15 years, Newton Inter-level School System has received Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training 6 times; and the title of Excellent Labor Collective from the Hanoi People's Committee 3 times...

Returning to Vietnam on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the school's founding, Dr. Pham Minh Thanh - a former student of the first class shared: "I am grateful to Newton teachers because they inspired me and gave me the passion to pursue a scholarship to study abroad and become a researcher, an economics lecturer, contributing a part of my youth to the economy of Vietnam and the region."
Representing more than 8,500 parents of Newton Inter-level School System, Mr. Nguyen Mau Dung - Parents Association of Newton Secondary - High School also said that the growth of Newton School shows the increasing trust of many parents in the quality of training of the school. Newton School always grasps the trend of society to take the lead, strongly applying information technology in teaching.
