On October 16, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor's degrees to 1,550 students and 11 master's degrees to graduate students.
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, said that these students were admitted to the school when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Vietnam. "Their learning journey was not easy. They overcame many difficulties and challenges, went through hours of hard study, stressful exams, and difficult projects and essays. But they did not give up. Their perseverance, will and determination have been rewarded with today's results," Dr. Tuan reiterated.
The principal of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology also noted that graduation is a milestone but not the end. Graduation does not mean throwing away books and putting aside studies.
On the contrary, this is just the beginning of a greater journey of learning and experience. Life is constantly changing. Lifelong learning is an indispensable journey to survive and thrive in a changing world .
"After today, you will enter a new phase - a revolutionary phase in learning. The knowledge learned at school is the foundation, but to be successful, you need to constantly practice, update and develop yourself. Life is an endless game and those who do not learn and adapt will be eliminated from the game. Therefore, continue to expand your knowledge, not only through books, but also from practical experiences, from the small failures and successes on your journey" - the school leaders sent.
New graduates receive their diplomas at the graduation ceremony.
Of the total 1,550 students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology graduating this time, 198 students were awarded after achieving academic achievements throughout the course, including 44 new bachelors graduating with honors, 154 graduating with honors. Notably, in this graduation session, 6 students graduated early, completing the training program after only 3 years of study with impressive academic achievements including 1 excellent and 5 good.
The school also awarded excellent, excellent and early graduates with a total value of 104,500,000 VND.
