Tonight (November 23), this duo was announced to be the ones to lead Ho Chi Minh City Club for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season. Accordingly, Coach Park Hang Seo will hold the role of Technical Director, and Coach Lee Young Jin will be registered as Head Coach of Ho Chi Minh City Club.
The leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Club said that the contracts of Coach Park Hang Seo and Coach Lee Young Jin will be signed soon. Mr. Park Hang Seo and Mr. Lee Young Jin will be in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of this month to receive their new assignments.
This is very surprising information, because just one day before, Ho Chi Minh City Club said they could sign a contract with coach Mano Polking, former coach of the Thai national team.
Coach Park Hang Seo himself had previously expressed his desire to lead the Thai national team. However, after the Thai national team appointed Japanese coach Ishii to replace coach Mano Polking, Mr. Park turned his attention to domestic teams.
