On the evening of November 16, Nam Dinh Club welcomed Da Nang Club at Thien Truong Stadium, in the match of round 8 of V-League 2024 - 2025. The team from Thanh Nam was highly appreciated and did not encounter many difficulties to defeat the opponent and win all 3 points at home.

Nam Dinh FC dominated the majority of the match. The home team opened the scoring with a superb goal from foreign player Joseph Mpande in the 19th minute. Mpande's goal could only be described as perfect, as he dribbled and handled the ball delicately to overcome the opponent's pursuit, before firing a shot from outside the penalty area to score.
If they had taken better advantage, the team from Thanh Nam could have even scored a second goal. In the 90+2 minute, Rafaelson arrived in time after Mpande's shot was blocked and finished to seal a 5-star victory for Nam Dinh Club.
