These lines of sincere affection are for a brother, friend, teacher… with a kind personality in addition to top expertise.
In those shared lines, there are many young people who are students of Mr. Tien, there are also friends who are readers of his books or just know him through the talks where he is a speaker. And there are also people who secretly follow and learn from him through sharing on social networking platforms.
From Osaka city (Japan), Thao Nguyen (31 years old, engineer) shared: “I have been following him on social networks for a long time. At first, I admired him as a talented person in the field of technology, but when I closely observed what he did, I truly admired his beautiful personality. He is not only good at technology, but his way of speaking and thinking deeply understands the history of the nation, making me love and appreciate the two words Vietnam even more, especially the overseas Vietnamese community like us, we learn a lot from him about love for our homeland.”
Nguyen Phuoc Vuong (27 years old, organic chemistry engineer, living in Vuon Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City) shared: “My friends and I attended a few talks by Uncle Tien and learned about his passionate story. Our group is also international students who have returned to the country for nearly a year now. His way of communicating makes us confident and proud when stepping into the international environment. Uncle Tien once said: “The hand that can hold chopsticks to eat rice can also type on the keyboard. The hand that can pull the trigger can also click on the mouse”, which I really like. Our country may be small in area, but our people have never been small”.
Every departure leaves a void for those who stay behind, a journey of life ends, although short but very complete. Farewell to Hoang Nam Tien and thank you for the seeds that he sowed for today's youth, a seed of kindness, a way of life that knows how to care for everyone and an aspiration to dare to think big to strive to rise up, creating development steps for the country and the nation, which is also a profound sustainable value that society is in great need of today.
