Northern Power Corporation Customer Conference

Typical customers in the work of using electricity economically and effectively in Dien Bien province were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Northern Power Corporation.

At the conference, the Northern Power Corporation summarized the work of the national program on electricity demand management (DSM) in 2023, solutions to improve the effectiveness of DSM implementation in 2024, the electricity supply situation in 2024 and plans for the following years.

Also at the conference, customers who have performed well in DSM in 2023 shared their experiences in using electricity efficiently and economically. EVNNPC introduced electricity services and customer care channels; provided advice on using electricity economically and efficiently; recommended increasing electricity consumption during peak hot weather; and encouraged customers to proactively participate in the load adjustment program. At the same time, a special advisor from the Danish Energy Agency shared about the technical support program for implementing energy-saving investment projects.

Within the framework of the program, EVNNPC honored 70 customers who are typical enterprises in adjusting electricity load and 30 customers who are administrative agencies using the State budget as typical in using electricity economically and effectively.

According to EVNNPC leaders, thanks to the cooperation and companionship of customers as well as the efforts of the Corporation, EVNNPC always ensures to meet the demand for electricity for daily life and production. To use electricity effectively in the hot season of 2024, EVNNPC hopes that customers will proactively arrange production reasonably, avoid production during peak hours, especially large capacity loads of the steel, cement and construction electricity production industries; strengthen maintenance and maintenance of production line equipment. Power companies proactively work with customers on their production plans to adjust specific loads on the principle of fairness and transparency; Power companies fully prepare spare materials, equipment, operating plans, and arrange adequate operational management personnel, especially in the dry season and stormy season of 2024...
