BTO-On the morning of June 17, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated to organize a provincial-level scientific conference " Binh Thuan's cultural, family and human standards associated with the system of Vietnamese cultural, family and human values in the new period".
Attending and chairing the workshop were comrades Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bui The Nhan - Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dr. Le Hong Dung - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University. Also attending were leaders of departments, branches, sectors, socio -political organizations of the province, localities and cultural researchers and managers in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the workshop, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province Bui The Nhan affirmed: Binh Thuan has a history of formation and development of more than 330 years, including 10 districts, towns and cities. The locality possesses many beautiful features based on the integration of natural conditions, cultural history, and livelihood environment with its own characteristics. In addition, each ethnic group in the province has its own cultural characteristics, customs, festivals, and traditional crafts, forming cultural values that are both multi-layered and multi-faceted; closely related, with many similar and unified elements with the culture of the Central region of our country. Traditional cultural values have always been promoted by generations of people with the spirit of national pride, a sense of responsibility in preserving and cultivating to enrich their community and people, and guiding people to reach the values of truth - goodness - beauty in life. This is an attractive human resource, an important factor in preserving, building and developing the culture, people of Binh Thuan, and Vietnamese families to meet the needs of sustainable national development...
During the 1-day event, departments, branches, and localities will discuss and clarify the contents of cultural values, Binh Thuan people, family values, propaganda work, conservation, promotion of cultural resources, and identification of potentials and advantages for sustainable tourism development...
The workshop continues to provide scientific and practical basis to advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to develop strategies and issue policies to thoroughly grasp, implement and continue to supplement and perfect the system of cultural, family and human values of Binh Thuan in social life at present and in the future; meeting the needs of building and promoting cultural values and the strength of Vietnamese people in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration.
