Despite the many-day interruption due to the Lunar New Year holiday, in February, VinFast still recorded a sales growth of up to 25% compared to January 2025 with 12,500 vehicles of all kinds.
Of which, VF 3 accounts for the majority, with 5,200 vehicles delivered, deserving the title of "national electric vehicle". With outstanding advantages in price, size and dynamic design, VF 3 is suitable for many customer segments, from first-time car owners to those buying a second or third car; from dynamic, stylish young people to housewives, office workers, retirees; from urban to rural residents. In particular, VF 3 is a rare model on the market that can inspire creativity in owners, creating a trend of car personalization across the country.
Ranked second in VinFast's sales rankings in February 2025 is the VF 5 model, with more than 3,000 vehicles sold. The advantages of the VF 5 are its affordable price, optimal functionality and economic efficiency. Therefore, the VF 5 is the top choice for both personal use and service business needs.
Following VF 5 is VF 6, with sales of nearly 2,000 vehicles delivered, reaching the 5th consecutive month of sales of over 1,000 vehicles, affirming its leading position in the B-class high-chassis vehicle segment in the Vietnamese market.
The remaining 2,200 vehicles were divided equally among the VF e34, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9 models, of which the VF 7 alone had sales of more than 570 vehicles.
The effective business results of February 2025 continue VinFast's impressive streak of achievements in the domestic market. After officially becoming the best-selling car brand in the market in 2024, in just the first two months of 2025, VinFast delivered nearly 23,000 electric cars to Vietnamese customers.
Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - Deputy General Director of VinFast Global Sales said: “We have prepared carefully and are off to a good start for 2025. Although the set goals are very challenging, I believe that with reasonable adjustments in sales policies, the appearance of new products and increasingly improved service quality, VinFast will continue to receive the trust and increasing support of customers in the coming time”.
VinFast has just adjusted its business strategy from March 1, 2025, when it stops providing new battery rental options to customers to focus on the model of selling cars with batteries at attractive prices.
In addition, VinFast has also announced the official selling prices of the Green models optimized for transportation services. Accordingly, the Minio Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green and Limo Green models will start accepting deposits from March 17, 2025 through partner GSM, with prices ranging from VND 269 million for Minio Green to VND 749 million for Limo Green. These two new models are expected to be delivered in August this year, while the Herio Green and Nerio Green models will be delivered in April 2025.
Optimistic business prospects, reasonable sales policy adjustments and attractive new product lines are the ideal momentum for VinFast to accelerate in the coming months, aiming to at least double the number of vehicles delivered globally this year compared to 2024./.
