This morning (June 27), candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program took an optional exam consisting of 2 subjects from the subjects studied in grade 12. Candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program took a combined exam of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences .
According to the Ministry of Education and Training , more than 1.15 million candidates registered before the exam. This morning, the number of candidates who came to the exam site reached 99.3%, with more than 8,300 candidates absent.

Also this morning, 5 candidates were suspended from the exam at testing sites nationwide for violating exam regulations. One of them was in Hanoi. So far, 20 candidates nationwide have violated exam regulations and been suspended from the exam.
This afternoon, candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program will continue to take the Foreign Language exam, the final exam to conclude the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 26-27 in all provinces and cities.
This afternoon, after the exam period, the Ministry of Education and Training will hold a press conference to announce information related to this year's exam.
