Quick information on the socio-economic development situation in 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges; however, with the attention and support of the Central Government, the drastic, timely and effective leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the active participation of all levels and sectors, the companionship of news agencies, the press, the efforts of the business community and all classes of people in the province, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security of the province have achieved many positive results; GRDP growth rate reached 9.4%, the economy changed positively and increased quite well, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 2nd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions.
Regarding press activities, in 2023, central and local press agencies fully and promptly reported on political events and major holidays of the country and Ninh Thuan locality; comprehensively and strongly propagated on local economics, politics, culture, society, national defense and security; reported realistically on Party building work and the local political system. Fully and promptly reflected the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the policies and guidelines of the Party and State into life, contributing to promoting economic and social development and ensuring national defense and security in the province.

At the press conference, representatives of press agencies highly appreciated the results achieved by the province in 2023, and at the same time requested the provincial authorities to clarify a number of issues related to providing information on the province's socio-economic development situation to the press agencies; planning and state management related to the fields of land and marine resources; public investment management; upgrading education civil servants, etc.
Based on the opinions of the press agencies, representatives of the leaders of relevant departments, branches and units received, responded and clarified the issues.
Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of reporters and press agencies in the past time; clarified some issues that reporters and press agencies were interested in. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked reporters and press agencies for accompanying and sharing and giving frank and constructive comments on issues of public concern, so that the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, localities and sectors and units could grasp, direct inspection, handle and make timely adjustments. At the same time, he requested the functional departments and branches of the province to strengthen coordination with press agencies in providing and exchanging timely information on issues of public concern in a complete, accurate and competent manner. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, press agencies in the province and the team of reporters and journalists of central press agencies operating in the province would continue to share and accompany the province in the development process.
