In the first operation, "the Israeli ship MSC Unific was targeted in the Arabian Sea," said Yahya Sarea, a spokesman for the Yemeni group.

“A US oil tanker Delonix” was also targeted in a second operation carried out in the Red Sea “for the second time this week,” he added.

The third operation targeted the "British landing ship Anvil Point in the Indian Ocean" and the fourth in the Mediterranean Sea targeted a ship Sarea identified as the "Lucky Sailor".

Yemen's Houthi group has carried out drone and missile attacks on shipping routes since November, claiming it was showing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

After a period of relative calm, the Houthis have stepped up attacks on ships in the Red Sea and nearby waterways in recent weeks. So far, the Houthis have sunk two ships, hijacked another, and killed at least three sailors.
