According to Talksport , Paul Heckingbottom will be sacked by Sheffield United's board of directors today (December 5).
The Blades are bottom of the Premier League and four points from safety after picking up just one win from their 14 games.

The 46-year-old will become the first manager to be sacked in the Premier League in the 2023-24 season. At this point last season, there were five managers sacked.
Manager Paul Heckingbottom even retained his job after the humiliating 8-0 home defeat to Newcastle in September. However, the 46-year-old's two-year reign at Bramall Lane ended after a 5-0 defeat to fellow relegation-threatened Burnley.
Speaking after the defeat, coach Heckingbottom expressed disappointment with his team's performance. He said: "There were moments in the game where we played well.
But in this league, if you are not good enough, you will be punished. If you want to stay in the league, you have to accept the challenge and give it your all.
This is a tournament where every opponent is formidable. It is clear that only those teams that play without fear, play with freedom and excitement will survive."
Also according to TalkSport, former Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder will take over the "hot seat" from Heckingbottom exactly 3 years after being fired. The 56-year-old coach will receive an 18-month contract with the goal of helping the Blades stay in the league.
However, Chris Wilder will face a very difficult schedule when Sheffield United will face Liverpool on December 7.
