HueWACO received Sao Khue Award 2024

On the morning of April 13, at the Sao Khue 2024 Award ceremony organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) in Hanoi , the solution "Business Administration and Management Platform 4.0" of Thua Thien-Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO) was honored to receive the Sao Khue 2024 Award.

Attending the Sao Khue 2024 Award Ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission; Mr. Nguyen Quan - Former Minister, Ministry of Science and Technology - Chairman of Sao Khue Council; Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications , along with leaders of ministries, branches and more than 800 guests from IT units, enterprises, IT application enterprises, press and media units reporting on the event.

Sao Khue is the most prestigious and long-standing award in the Vietnamese software and information technology (IT) industry, organized annually by VINASA, starting in 2003, to honor outstanding products, applications, software solutions, and IT services, voted and evaluated by a team of experts and leading industry reputations. Thereby, selecting excellent nominations; introducing usage recommendations; connecting domestic and international cooperation; launching pad for Vietnamese software products, solutions, and platforms.

In 2024, the Sao Khue Awards have innovated the entire system with 57 award categories in 8 main areas including: Government, Administration, Public Sector; Community and People; Corporate Governance; Economy - Industry; Market - Consumption; Infrastructure - Digital Technology; Innovation; Digital Services.

This year's Sao Khue Award received 340 nominations – marking the year with the highest number of registrations ever. Through 3 preliminary rounds, presentations and voting, 169 outstanding nominations were unanimously awarded the Sao Khue Award 2024 by the Council. In particular, the Council selected 11 nominations to award the Sao Khue Award 2024 – 5-star rating and 10 best nominations to award the TOP 10 Sao Khue Awards 2024.

“Business Administration and Management Platform 4.0”   built and operated on the basis of digitizing processes, regulations, and technical economic norms in management and operation at HueWACO; fully integrating management, operation, and operational features; managing executive documents; monitoring and reporting production and business plans; managing customers, pressure, and water supply networks; building a shared data warehouse, integrating data from all software and IOTs systems.  

Thereby, information management is centralized, unified, interconnected and shared to the maximum, ensuring connection between other related information systems and databases.
