According to Lebanese Transport Minister Ali Hamieh, Israeli airstrikes on the night of November 26 targeted three northern border crossings between Lebanon and Syria.

The attacks came shortly after US President Joe Biden announced that a ceasefire would take effect from 4am on November 27 local time, to end the conflict between the armed group Hezbollah and Israel.
It was not immediately clear whether border routes had been cut off by the airstrikes, Mr. Hamieh said.
In recent weeks, several Israeli attacks on eastern Lebanon's border crossings have blocked routes to Syria.
According to the Syrian Red Crescent, one volunteer was killed and another was injured in "an attack on the Al-Dabousyeh and Al-Arida border crossings while carrying out a humanitarian mission in the early morning of November 27".
Meanwhile, Syrian state television reported that an Israeli airstrike at the Al-Arida border crossing left 18 people injured, some in critical condition. In addition, casualties were also recorded in another Israeli attack at the Dabousyeh border crossing.
The Israeli military has not yet made any comments on the above information.
Israel has previously said its targets were sites believed to be linked to Iran in Syria, part of a broader campaign to curb the influence of Tehran and its ally Hezbollah in the region.
In addition, on November 26, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) also attacked a Hezbollah weapons depot in Syria, responding to the group's attack on US forces on November 25.
