The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said on November 19 that four peacekeepers were injured in a rocket attack by "non-state groups".

According to a UNIFIL statement, "Four Ghanaian peacekeepers on duty in the village of Ramia were injured after rockets fired by non-state groups in Lebanon hit the base."
Another base of this force in Shamma was also "hit by five missiles", the statement said.
However, UNIFIL did not specify who was behind the remaining attack or give any information about casualties.
Meanwhile, on November 19, the Israeli Army (IDF) accused Hezbollah of attacking the UNIFIL base in Shamma, southern Lebanon.
In connection with the incident, the Italian Ministry of Defense also announced that the Iran-backed Hezbollah armed group attacked the UNIFIL base, although the Minister of Defense, Mr. Guido Crosetto, previously accused Israel of being behind the attack.
Earlier on November 19, UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti condemned the "repeated attacks" against the force over the past year, which have left "more than 20 peacekeepers injured."
Since September 23, nearly a year after Hezbollah launched a series of cross-border attacks in support of its ally Hamas, Israel has also stepped up its bombing campaign in Lebanon, deploying ground forces.
