This year's National Day holiday lasts 4 days, creating favorable conditions for families, friends and relatives to plan fun and sightseeing.

During the first two days of the holiday, Hoi An ancient town welcomed tens of thousands of visitors, mostly domestic tourists.

Along the roads leading to Hoi An ancient town, a large number of people and vehicles poured in. Parking lots, souvenir shops, restaurants, etc. also "do well" during this time.

Mr. Hoang Van Thanh, a souvenir seller in Hoi An ancient town, said: "During the first two days of the National Day holiday on September 2, many tourists came to visit Hoi An ancient town. I hope that in the next two days, more tourists will come to Hoi An so that we can do good business."

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Van Khanh, a tourist from Ha Tinh, shared that she and her family booked tickets to Da Nang city for tourism during the holiday and then moved to Hoi An ancient town for sightseeing. She was very satisfied with the experience of admiring the scenery of the ancient town and enjoying local specialties.

"Although it is a tourist city, I find the prices of food and shopping in Hoi An very reasonable. It is a holiday so there are quite a lot of tourists, but it is not rushed or crowded. I will definitely return to Hoi An in the near future," said Ms. Khanh.

The weather is favorable, sunny, and the beaches are cool, so the number of tourists choosing Hoi An to experience and visit during the September 2nd holiday is quite large. Accommodation units recorded a large number of guests booking rooms very early, some hotels had to temporarily stop accepting guests due to overload.

A representative of a 4-star hotel located on Au Co Street (Cua Dai Ward, Hoi An) shared that a week before the start of the holiday (from August 31 to September 3), the hotel stopped accepting guests. Through online booking applications, the hotel had received enough guests for the 4-day holiday.

It is known that in the days before the holiday, the average room occupancy rate at this hotel was 95%. This is expected to be the busiest September 2 holiday since the Covid-19 epidemic was brought under control.

According to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, in order to attract domestic and international tourists to the locality and promote tourism business activities, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province coordinated with relevant agencies, units and more than 100 tourism businesses in the province to participate in the 2024 tourist attraction stimulus program with the theme " Quang Nam - Green Heritage Area"...

The program takes place from May to November, including 2 phases. Phase 1 "Quang Nam - Summer Emotions" from May to August and phase 2 "Quang Nam Golden Season" from September to the end of November.
