Implementing the work plan No. 17 dated June 3, 2023 of the Emulation Cluster of member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the field of Health - Environment on the 2023 action plan, on September 25 and 26, the Emulation Cluster of Health - Environment including the Vietnam Association of Oriental Medicine, Vietnam Medical Association, Vietnam Public Health Association, Family Planning Association, Vietnam Acupuncture Association, Clean Water and Environment Association, Private Hospital Association, which are member organizations of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the field of Health - Environment, implemented a plan to visit Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province.
During the working trip, the delegation organized a continuous medical training course with the contents of Prevention of harmful effects of tobacco; Update diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis; nutrition for the elderly in the community. There were 150 delegates representing relevant units in Nghi Xuan district, participating in the training program and will receive training certificates after the program.
Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Oriental Medicine, Associate Professor, Dr. Dau Xuan Canh, Head of the Health - Environment Emulation Cluster, emphasized that during the trip, all activities of the delegation must contribute to bringing practical value to local grassroots health organizations and the interests of the people, as well as not disturbing local agencies and organizations. Specifically, training to improve the working capacity of staff, donating medical equipment such as vaccine containers, electric acupuncture machines, free medicine, medical examination and direct consultation for women on reproductive health and family planning.
The working group also examined and provided reproductive health consultation to nearly 500 local people and presented many meaningful gifts such as functional foods, blood pressure medication, medical equipment, specialized vaccine containers and water purifiers, helping local health stations provide better and more effective health care for the people.
