"Heart for Children" is a program that provides congenital heart disease screening and free heart surgery support for poor children under 18 years old. The program was founded and operated by the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group ( Viettel ) and the Tam Long Viet Fund - Vietnam Television since 2008.
This is a large-scale humanitarian charity program, one of the longest-running community projects in Vietnam. The program cooperates with dozens of large hospitals with cardiovascular specialties to screen and perform surgery for patients nationwide.

After 17 years of implementing humanitarian surgery for children under 18 years old in difficult circumstances, the program "Heart for Children" has supported surgery for more than 7,700 pediatric patients, organized 117 congenital heart disease screening programs for nearly 200,000 children nationwide. The average cost of surgery per case is up to 40 million VND. This is the 5th time the program has been organized in Tuyen Quang .
The program will run until 11:30 a.m. on August 3. Families with children suspected of having heart disease can bring them in for examination, consultation, and treatment.
