Previously, on the afternoon of July 7, at km 8+900 of National Highway 15D, a large amount of rock and soil slid down the road, causing a complete traffic jam.

The cause is believed to be that the traffic construction unit here is implementing mountain clearance at one of the 11 curves being expanded on the route.
