The movie "The Devil Prince" is adapted from the horror novel "The Strange Tales of the Ly Dynasty" by author Phan Cuong.

"This project poses many challenges in the audition process, because the characters in the film are quite young but their lives are extremely rich and profound. Therefore, the actors must be suitable for the role, suitable for their age, and must also be able to express inner depth, suitable for the fierce events of fate and the content of the story" - producer Hoang Quan said.

According to director Tran Huu Tan, the project is both a challenge and an opportunity for him to assert himself in making unique, quality films that still retain the essence of Vietnamese folk culture.

"I always believe that film is one of the best means of promoting Vietnamese culture to young audiences, like Korean cinema has done very successfully," commented director Tran Huu Tan.

"Ly Trieu Di Truyen" has left an impression on many readers thanks to its exploitation of Vietnamese historical materials. Author Phan Cuong, whose real name is Phan Chi Hieu, is loved by many readers thanks to his sharp writing style, rich in imagery and the ability to recreate historical contexts through a mystical lens, engaging plot, and haunting, tense battles of wit.

"Seeing my story on the big screen will be an interesting experience. If this work were made into a film, it would be extremely challenging for the crew. But knowing that director Tran Huu Tan and producer Hoang Quan will be in charge of the project, I believe they will capture the spirit of my story" - Phan Cuong confided.

This film project marks the first collaboration between ProductionQ and CJ HK Entertainment.
