13 teenagers in Nghe An prosecuted for carrying knives and swords to chase and fight each other on the street

On the evening of November 18, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of Nam Dan District Police ( Nghe An ) has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 13 young people for disturbing public order, including: THS, N.D.T., NVK, LBP (born in 2006), NQH, NSH (born in 2007), NXT (born in 2004), LQM (born in 2005), all residing in Nam Dan District; NCB, THD, NHK (born in 2008), NDT, N.D.HH (born in 2007), all residing in Thanh Chuong District ( Nghe An ).

During the investigation, Nam Dan District Police determined that on the evening of November 2, in Nam Dan District, due to a conflict while participating in traffic, a group of young people aged 14-20 years old residing in Nam Dan District and Thanh Chuong District drove motorbikes at high speed, recklessly overtaking, carrying weapons (swords, knives...), chasing and fighting, endangering traffic participants and causing disorder.

Initially, Nam Dan District Police clarified more than 30 teenagers involved in the above case and prosecuted 13 defendants for disturbing public order, as stipulated in Clause 2, Article 318, Penal Code. Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded for handling according to the provisions of law.

About a month ago, the Hoang Mai Town Police (Nghe An) also detained 5 people residing in Hoang Mai Town and Anh Son District (Nghe An) for disturbing public order. At the same time, they consolidated the relevant files and documents to initiate criminal proceedings and prosecute the defendants according to the law.

Accordingly, at around 12:30 on October 12, through the social network Facebook, Hoang Mai town police discovered that at the house of Nguyen Dinh Luong (born in 1971, residing in Quynh Xuan ward, Hoang Mai town), firecrackers were being set off during a wedding.

Immediately after discovering the incident, the leaders of Hoang Mai Town Police quickly sent forces to focus on investigating and clarifying. Thereby, it was determined that there were 5 people involved including: Nguyen Dinh Truong (born in 1994), Vu Minh Thoai (born in 1989), Vu Van Vinh (born in 1988), Luu Van Quynh (born in 2006) all residing in Quynh Xuan Ward (Hoang Mai Town) and Vo Van Hau (born in 1986, residing in Hoi Son Commune, Anh Son District).
