Inventory of ethnic festivals in Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts

Units under the Dong Nai cultural sector will organize an inventory of traditional festivals of ethnic groups in Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts.

The inventory aims to grasp the number of ethnic festivals being practiced in Vinh Cuu and Trang Bom districts, assess the overall status of festivals, propose solutions to restore and protect heritage in a timely manner, and avoid fading or changing. In Vinh Cuu district, there will be 76 festivals of the Kinh, Choro... ethnic groups inventoried in 11 communes and towns; Trang Bom district has 25 festivals of the Kinh, Hoa... ethnic groups inventoried in 9 communes and towns.

The results of the inventory are expected to be submitted to the Scientific Council for appraisal in November and December. These results will contribute to the development of a database of information and documents on intangible cultural heritage in Dong Nai province, serving the management, research and study of all classes of people.
