Strengthening grassroots Party organizations under the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee

On the afternoon of July 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee held a conference to announce and hand over the decision to establish grassroots Party organizations under the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee.

At the conference, Colonel Tran Van Trung, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, announced the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Executive Committee on the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee, on the basis of merging and reorganizing the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Military Command and the Binh Duong Provincial Military Command and the Ho Chi Minh City Command (under Military Region 7).

The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee consists of 23 comrades; the Standing Committee has 7 comrades; the Inspection Committee has 7 comrades.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, holds the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee. Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command; Major General Vu Van Dien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command and 4 comrades, members of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee.

At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee also announced the decision on the establishment of affiliated Party organizations; appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of Party Committees of the Party organizations affiliated to the Ho Chi Minh City Military Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, emphasized: The Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Command have focused on leading and closely directing the process of reorganizing local military agencies. Up to now, the basic tasks have been completed.

According to Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, perfecting the Party organization at all levels and building a contingent of cadres is a key task. He requested that the Party Committees of all units continue to make efforts, overcome difficulties, maintain solidarity, proactively and effectively advise the Party Committee and the Command on military, national defense and border affairs. At the same time, build a comprehensively strong Ho Chi Minh City armed force, "exemplary, typical", and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung further analyzed that in the current period, very high requirements are set for each Party organization, each cadre, Party member, and Party Committee member at all levels. Therefore, grassroots Party Committees and each Committee member must build high solidarity and unity within the Party Committee, commanders, comrades, and military-civilian relations. Regardless of position, first of all, one must demonstrate the role and spirit of a Party member, must have the will and spirit to serve the people, and fight for the people.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung also emphasized that we must clearly determine our determination, overcome difficulties, complete tasks well and not allow work to be interrupted, disrupted or delayed.
