Kien Xuong gives houses to poor and near-poor households in Vu An commune

On the afternoon of June 17, Kien Xuong district organized a ceremony to hand over houses to poor and near-poor households in Vu An commune. This is a practical activity to effectively implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district by 2025.

Leaders of Vu An commune presented support money to Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh's family.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh's family, a poor household, received 100 million VND from the district's budget. The Fund for the Poor Mobilization Committee of Vu An commune allocated 15 million VND from the Fund to support the construction of a new house for the family. The project started in March and was completed in June 2025, ensuring architectural standards with a usable area of 30m², with a total cost of nearly 200 million VND. Ms. Vu Thi Dieu's family, a near-poor household, received 50 million VND from the district budget and 7 million VND from the Fund for the Poor of the commune to repair the house. The project was implemented in March and completed in April 2025, with an usable area of 30m² and a total cost of 60 million VND.

The donated houses represent the care and sharing of the Party, State, local authorities, organizations, and philanthropists for poor and near-poor households, helping families stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably.
