The new Kinetic DX 2025 is a product of the Kinetic Watts & Volts electric vehicle brand (owned by Kinetic Engineering Limited – a name that was once prominent in the Indian two-wheeler market). The vehicle line marks a turning point for Kinetic in the field of electric motorcycle manufacturing. The design of the Kinetic DX is inspired by the iconic Raptor, with details such as the bird-of-prey turn signals, sharp LED daytime running lights, and the glowing "KINETIC" lettering on the handlebar cover. The body is made of sturdy metal.
The rear footrest has an EasyFlip folding mechanism, the 37-liter trunk can hold a full-face helmet, a half-face helmet and some cargo. In particular, the floor is flat and extremely spacious for users to rest their feet and store their belongings comfortably. The Kinetic DX electric motorbike is not just a regular 2-wheeler, but also a smart scooter, thanks to the MyKiney AI virtual assistant system. The MyKiney AI assistant in the car can provide notifications, greetings, reminders, and play music via the built-in Bluetooth speaker. Notably, it supports up to 14 Indian languages, along with Italian and German for export markets.
In addition, the car is also equipped with the EasyKey system - starting without a physical key, only using a password. Through the Telekinetics application, users can control the car remotely, including starting/stopping the engine, opening the charging lid, updating software remotely, and setting up a safe zone. The system also sends a warning if someone tries to enter the wrong password more than 10 times in a row. In terms of performance, the Kinetic DX is equipped with a rear-axle electric motor with a maximum power of up to 4.8 kW and a maximum speed of 90 km/h. The vehicle has 3 driving modes: economical (Range), normal (Power) and powerful (Turbo) to meet different situations from the user. The vehicle is also equipped with a series of smart features including: Cruise control, Hill Hold, Reverse Park Assist, and K-Coast regenerative braking system. This new electric motorbike is equipped with a 2.6 kW LFP battery, manufactured by Range-X. The Kinetic DX’s battery has a lifespan of up to 2,500 – 3,500 charge cycles, about four times longer than its competitors, according to the company. The vehicle has an operating range of 116 km according to IDC standards and can reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h. With the charger that comes with the vehicle, it only takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery from 0 to 100%.
The Kinetic DX uses a 220 mm front disc brake, 12-inch wheels, 165 mm ground clearance, and a 1,314 mm wheelbase, suitable for the complex road conditions in India. In addition, the vehicle also has a Kinetic Assist button that quickly connects to the support line when the user needs help, as well as anti-theft warnings for increased safety. Kinetic DX will be sold in the Indian market in two versions: the standard version priced at 111,499 rupees (equivalent to 33.5 million VND) and the DX+ version priced at 117,499 rupees (about 35.4 million VND).
