Yesterday, September 9, Trieu Van Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard coordinated with Thanh Nien Newspaper to present 30 million VND (including 15 million VND in cash and 1 laptop worth 15 million VND) to Nguyen Thi Thanh Giang (15 years old), in Village 2, Trieu Lang Commune, Trieu Phong District, from the support of Thanh Nien Newspaper.
It is known that Giang is not as lucky as her peers, having never met her father when she was born. Her mother, Nguyen Thi Lan (57 years old), has been working all kinds of jobs for many years to raise her children and her 95-year-old mother who has been sick and bedridden for the past 5 years.

There is not a single valuable item in the solidarity house donated by Trieu Van Border Guard Station and Trieu Lang Commune People's Committee. Despite such dire circumstances, Giang still tries to go to school and help her mother collect scrap metal to make ends meet, pursuing her dream of going to school. During her 9 years of high school, Giang has always been an excellent student and won many district and provincial awards in culture and painting.
In the recent 10th grade entrance exam, Giang scored 55 points and was admitted to Vinh Dinh High School in Trieu Phong District. However, with her current circumstances, it is very difficult for Giang to study, as the school is 10 km away from home, and she does not know where to find transportation, books and tuition fees.
From the connection of Trieu Van Border Guard Station, Thanh Nien Newspaper called on organizations and kind-hearted individuals to support and help him.
