First time high altitude fireworks on Binh Dinh's big day

(Dan Tri) - According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province, for the first time the locality will organize a high-altitude fireworks display in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the province's liberation.

On March 18, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province held a press conference to inform about a series of outstanding events on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh province's Liberation Day (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).

Mr. Huynh Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province, said that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved the organization of fireworks display on this anniversary.

According to Mr. Loi, the highlight of the celebration is the epic art program with the theme "Binh Dinh - Pride and Aspiration", recreating the history of the martial arts land of Binh Dinh, where the patriotic tradition and spirit of uprising from the Tay Son movement to two great resistance wars crystallized.

In particular, for the first time on the occasion of the province's liberation day, Binh Dinh will organize a high-altitude artistic fireworks display. Mr. Loi said that in recent years, the province has often organized fireworks displays on major holidays, but this year there will be a difference with 150 low-altitude fireworks displays and 800 high-altitude fireworks displays.

The fireworks display is scheduled to take place from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on March 30 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon city.

In March, Binh Dinh will organize an investment promotion conference to introduce and promote the province's potential to attract domestic and international investors.

Some typical projects will be inaugurated such as Phu Phong dam (Tay Son district) and Dinh River flood drainage system (Quy Nhon city).

Other response activities include the exhibition of historical documents "Binh Dinh - 50 years of construction and development"; the art photo exhibition "50 years of Binh Dinh - Land and people"; the festival to enjoy the flower garden - Ta Ma stream (Vinh Thanh district); the national creative startup forum and the Pickleball tournament of Binh Dinh province clubs in 2025.
