As planned, it will take place at 4:30 p.m. on August 15 at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, to provide detailed information about the nomination process, the outstanding global value of the heritage, and introduce the plan to preserve and promote its value in the coming time.

Within the framework of the event, there will be outstanding activities including a press conference to announce the registration results, a grand ceremony to pray for national peace and prosperity, and a special art program with the theme of Yen Tu Thousand Years - The halo of meditation.
The National Peace and Prosperity Prayer Ceremony will be held at 7:15 p.m. the same day at Yen Tu Cultural Center, chaired by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh Province, with the participation of about 3,000 Buddhists, delegates and people. Next, at 8:00 p.m. at Minh Tam Square, a special 90-minute art program will take place, combining performances, news reports, leadership speeches and fireworks. The program will be broadcast live on VTV2 and channels QTV1, QTV3.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the unit in charge of implementing the plan. Also coordinating are the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Media Center, Yen Tu Ward People's Committee, Ha Long University, departments, agencies, art units and enterprises... Quang Ninh province mobilizes all forces, means and human resources to ensure the program takes place solemnly, safely, on schedule, demonstrating the national stature and international value of the event.

The recognition of Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son – Kiep Bac by UNESCO not only affirms the position of the heritage on the world map, but also opens up opportunities for sustainable tourism development associated with preserving the cultural and spiritual traditions of the nation. This is also an opportunity to widely promote the image of the land of the Buddha, the Northeast of Vietnam to domestic and international friends.
Previously, at the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Paris (France), UNESCO officially listed this complex of relics as a World Cultural Heritage. This is Vietnam's 9th World Cultural Heritage, and the second inter-provincial heritage after Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago.
