On August 4, Dien Bien Pedagogical College held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. Attending and directing the conference was Mr. Le Quang Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Dien Bien College of Education (CDSP) continues to affirm its position in teacher training and development and scientific research with many outstanding results. The school achieved 100% of the enrollment target for the Early Childhood Education major, with a stable training scale of 530 students; 100% of students who meet the graduation requirements are recognized and awarded degrees, of which more than 33% are classified as Excellent and Excellent.
Not only completing the formal training task well, the school also strongly implemented the training work with 42 regular training classes, attracting 4,372 trainees who are teachers and managers of preschool education facilities. Training cooperation activities were maintained effectively: coordinating with universities to train 623 students in the part-time training program and training 285 teachers in the province.
The field of scientific research has recorded many improvements. Last school year, Dien Bien College of Education accepted 20 scientific topics and 47 initiatives, of which 41 initiatives were recognized by the Department of Education and Training as having a high scope of influence and effective application. The teaching staff published 116 scientific articles and organized seminars with 27 presentations, contributing to improving research capacity and linking theory with teaching practice.
The emulation movement continued to be vibrant and effective: 7/7 collectives achieved the title of Advanced Labor, 1 Excellent Labor collective; 94.5% of cadres and lecturers achieved the title of Advanced Labor, many individuals were proposed for awards at the State and provincial levels. Party and mass organizations were all classified as "Excellently completing their tasks".
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Quang Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province praised the spirit of solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties, and innovation of the school, and emphasized: "The 2025-2026 school year is a pivotal year in the roadmap to transform Dien Bien College of Education into a Branch of Thai Nguyen University. This requires the school not only to maintain stability, but also to have a strategic vision, proactive steps and thorough preparation in all aspects."
Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school will focus on stabilizing the staff, maintaining training quality, and improving the quality of lecturers through training, self-study, technology application and promoting scientific research. Management, testing and quality assurance will continue to be innovated, associated with digital transformation, towards modern and transparent management. The school environment is built in a cultural, safe and friendly direction, creating conditions for each lecturer and student to promote their capacity and contribute to the common development.
Mr. Le Quang Vinh affirmed that the industry will continue to accompany and support Dien Bien College of Education to develop sustainably, gradually affirm its position in the national education system, and successfully carry out this important transformation process.
On this occasion, Dien Bien College of Education mobilized all cadres, civil servants, employees, workers and students of the whole school to participate in supporting people in areas affected by natural disasters in Dien Bien.
