On the evening of March 9, Hanoi's sky will be lit up again by a drone performance festival called "The Fragrance of Tay Ho".
The light show festival under the program "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2024 - Get on Hanoi 2024" and the announcement of the Decision to recognize Nhat Tan Tourist Area as a city-level tourist area with the theme "Get on Hanoi 2024 - The fragrance of Tay Ho" took place from March 9-10 at Trinh Cong Son walking street.
According to the plan, the light show "The Colors and Fragrances of West Lake" will use about 200 drones combined with laser mapping technology to create an epic semi-realistic art show. The performance will start at 9:30 p.m. on March 9 and last about 15 minutes.

This program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), while promoting the image of Hanoi as a destination "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive", to attract tourists to visit and experience Hanoi in general and Tay Ho district in particular.
The light show festival is the opening event in a series of 50 cultural, festival and tourism activities in 2024 of the Capital such as: Hanoi Tourism Festival 2024; Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024; Hanoi Autumn Festival; Food and Craft Village Tourism Festival; Hanoi Ao Dai Festival 2024... contributing to promoting the image of the city to domestic and international friends.
The series of activities aims to complete the goal of welcoming 27 million tourists to Hanoi in 2024, including 5.5 million international visitors; total revenue from tourists reaches 109.41 trillion VND.
In addition, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to experience Hanoi's typical culinary space, booths displaying tourism products, visit and take photos with decorative miniatures, participate in traditional folk games and admire the winning photos in the tourism photo contest "Hanoi Capital welcomes you - Welcome Ha Noi City".
Previously, implementing the direction of the Hanoi City Party Committee and People's Committee, the Tay Ho District People's Committee chaired the organization of the "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2024 at the Van Cao intersection.
