At the ceremony, the Quang Ninh Football Club's leadership awarded 1 billion VND for the achievements of the coaching staff and players of the team. The team received 250 million VND in prize money for the championship from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province awarded a certificate of merit for the achievement of winning first place in the 2025 National Second Division. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province awarded certificates of merit to outstanding individuals of the club. At the event, many businesses of Quang Ninh province came to celebrate, congratulate and give cash prizes to Quang Ninh Football Club.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee congratulated the team on their success. Ms. Hanh highly appreciated the efforts of the leaders, coaching staff and players of Quang Ninh Football Club. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh also requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to soon complete the project to develop a professional football team and a youth football project.

Quang Ninh Club returns to First Division after many efforts |
“The youth team will be managed by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the senior football team will be the source of support for the youth team. We request the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to soon complete two projects, including developing plans, ensuring conditions, and mobilizing resources for the team,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, the Provincial People's Committee will preside over working with the Club and related departments, including inviting the Provincial Business Association to contribute to the team, thereby having a long-term strategy.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh requested the leaders of Cam Pha city and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to advise and soon hand over the facilities of the old football team, Cam Pha stadium, to Quang Ninh Football Club.
On the club's side, Chairman Ha Tuan Dung expressed his emotion at the team's efforts, especially the comeback in the final match against PVF-CAND to win first place in Group A. The team was also undefeated against Bac Ninh, a team advised by former Vietnam national team head coach Park Hang-seo.
In the 2025 National Second Division, Quang Ninh Club excellently topped Group A with an unbeaten record. The team won 8 matches and drew 2 matches. This unbeaten record continued from the 2024 National Third Division season. In less than 1 year, Quang Ninh Club was promoted 2 consecutive levels to return to the Vietnamese professional football system.
