Two groups held in Vietnam
The 2025 AFF Women's Cup will be held at two major stadiums in Vietnam:
• Lach Tray Stadium ( Hai Phong ): organizes group A matches, semi-finals, third place matches and finals
• Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ): organizes group B matches
According to the results of the draw, the teams are allocated as follows:
• Group A: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia
• Group B: Myanmar, Philippines, Timor Leste, U23 Australia
AFF Women's Cup 2025 group stage schedule: Vietnam meets Thailand in the final round
In Group A, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will start the campaign with two matches against weaker opponents Cambodia and Indonesia, before entering the crucial match against the Thai women's team. The teams finishing first and second in each group will advance to the semi-finals. The schedule is as follows:
Semi-finals – 16.08.2025 (Lach Tray Stadium)
• 16:30: Semi-final 1 – Group A winner vs Group B runner-up
• 19:30: Semi-final 2 – Group B winner vs Group A runner-up
Final and third place match – 19.08.2025 (Lach Tray Stadium)
• 16:30: Third place match
• 19:30: 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship Final
Goals of the Vietnam women's team
After the 2023 Women's World Cup, Vietnamese women's football continues to aim to maintain its No. 1 position in Southeast Asia.
With an experienced force combined with young elements, the Vietnamese women's team aims to win the championship right on home ground. The final match of the group stage against Thailand on August 12 promises to be a key challenge for that ambition.
