2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship Schedule: Vietnam Women's Team Faces Thailand in Final Round of Group A

VHO - The 2025 AFF Women's Championship will officially kick off from August 6 to August 19, 2025 in Vietnam, with the participation of 8 strong teams in the Southeast Asian region. Notably, the Vietnamese women's team will have a match considered the "Group A final" with arch-rival Thailand in the final round of the group stage.

Two groups held in Vietnam

The 2025 AFF Women's Cup will be held at two major stadiums in Vietnam:

• Lach Tray Stadium ( Hai Phong ): organizes group A matches, semi-finals, third place matches and finals

• Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ): organizes group B matches

According to the results of the draw, the teams are allocated as follows:

• Group A: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia

• Group B: Myanmar, Philippines, Timor Leste, U23 Australia

In Group A, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will start the campaign with two matches against weaker opponents Cambodia and Indonesia, before entering the crucial match against the Thai women's team.
