Vietnam U.22 team has made a lot of progress, what does coach Dinh Hong Vinh say?

In the second match of the CFA Team China 2025 tournament in Yancheng City (Jiangsu, China), the Vietnam U.22 team satisfied fans with a 0-0 draw against a very strong opponent, Uzbekistan U.22, who won the 2018 AFC U.23 Championship in Changzhou, China.

This is the second consecutive draw for coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team, after the failed victory over U.22 Korea when the opponent equalized 1-1 in the last minute. This result helps the U.22 Vietnam team temporarily rank second in the group with 3 points, only 1 point behind the host U.22 China.

This means that the U.22 Vietnam team has a chance to compete for the championship if they defeat the host U.22 China team in the match at 6:35 p.m. on March 25.

After the match, coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "Both of the recent opponents of the U.22 Vietnam team were very strong, with good physical and technical foundations, but our players showed confidence and followed the tactics well.

In the match against the U.22 Korean team, the team played resiliently and had moments of difficulty for the opponent. In the match against U.22 Uzbekistan, the players made adjustments, especially in the defensive organization, helping us keep a clean sheet. However, there are still some points that need improvement, especially in taking advantage of opportunities in counter-attack situations."

Research to defeat U.22 China

Evaluating the 0-0 draw with U.22 Uzbekistan, coach Dinh Hong Vinh commented that Uzbekistan is a well-organized team, with good physical strength and many technical players. He said: "We have prepared carefully and the players have deployed their playing style in a reasonable way.

The defense played focused, maintained good team formation, and did not leave many gaps for the opponent to exploit. In attack, the team had some opportunities but could not take advantage of them.

This is something we will continue to improve to achieve higher efficiency in the upcoming matches. Overall, this was a useful match, helping U.22 Vietnam hone their skills when facing strong Asian teams."

The coaching staff will carefully analyze the playing style of U.22 China to have the best preparation for the final match. This will certainly be an important match, not only in terms of the result but also to help us more accurately assess the players' abilities in high-pressure situations."

The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 China will take place at 6:35 p.m. on March 25. This will be an important test for the players before aiming for further goals in the future.
