Ha Tinh is expected to welcome more than 600 delegates from the Central Government and provinces and cities across the country to attend the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam 2023 and the Elderly Singing Festival Region I, held from September 29-30.
The provincial Elderly Singing Festival was recently successfully held.
Implementing the plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month for the Vietnamese Elderly in 2023 and the Elderly Singing Festival of Region I will be held in Ha Tinh city from September 29 - 30, 2023.
According to the plan, the Elderly Singing Festival in Region I will have the participation of 26 senior groups from the northern provinces and cities, taking place on September 29 and the morning of September 30. The groups will bring to the festival special performances selected from provincial and city level festivals.
The festival is a meaningful playground for the elderly across the country.
The program of the launching ceremony of the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam 2023 combined with the award ceremony of the Elderly Singing Festival Region I was held on the evening of September 30 with the participation of 600 people including leaders of the Party, State, central and local departments and members of the participating delegations.
To prepare for this important event, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly and the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province have developed a plan, coordinated and assigned specific tasks to relevant units such as: reception, celebration; welcoming delegates; ensuring security and order, food safety and hygiene, medical care; strengthening communication activities...
All levels and sectors organize many activities and playgrounds with the goal of helping the elderly live happily, healthily and usefully.
The launching ceremony of the Action Month for the Elderly in Vietnam in 2023 and the Elderly Singing Festival Region I held in Ha Tinh will be an opportunity to promote the image and traditional culture of the locality to domestic friends, contributing to promoting tourism and service activities in the area.
