On March 28, 2025, Long An Provincial People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation to promote green transformation and digital transformation, contributing to realizing sustainable development goals for the period 2025 - 2030 and responding to the Government's commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Minh Lam attended the signing ceremony.
At the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut highly appreciated the achievements that Vingroup has achieved in green growth, especially in the field of green transportation with the VinFast brand. Through the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Long An province and Vingroup, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the two sides will promote concrete actions to complete the set goals. According to the cooperation agreement, Long An Provincial People's Committee and Vingroup will closely coordinate in the process of establishing and implementing the green transformation program, green growth, sustainable development of Long An province in the period of 2025 - 2030, with key areas including: Green urban infrastructure, Green transportation, Green economy (Tourism - Industry - Agriculture) and Green lifestyle.
Through the memorandum of cooperation agreement, the green transition process in the province is expected to be implemented faster in many areas, bringing a higher quality of life to local people.
Within the framework of the Signing Ceremony, delegates also visited and experienced green transportation services belonging to the ecosystem of Vingroup Corporation at P3 Park, Tan An city.
