On the contrary, cases where the ORS is too diluted will reduce the effectiveness of the ORS in rehydration and electrolyte replacement.

How to use ORS correctly: Read the instructions carefully to mix correctly. Mix the entire packet of ORS powder with the exact amount of boiled and cooled water written on the packet. Do not divide the ORS packet for use. Do not "estimate", "guess" or measure water with inaccurate measuring tools.
After mixing the solution with water, it must be consumed within 24 hours. After 24 hours, discard and mix a new packet, do not store in the refrigerator for children to drink gradually. Do not boil the mixed solution, it can lose the qualities of the medicine, evaporate, increase osmosis. Do not add sugar, do not mix ORS with milk, fruit juice, soft drinks... or do it according to your own ideas. Give children ORS about 15 - 20 minutes/time, a few spoons each time, do not drink too much at once.
When children show signs of drowsiness, lethargy, fatigue, and frequent vomiting, parents need to take their children to a medical facility immediately for timely treatment.
